 note = {Article, Recently, we carried out a questionnaire survey on the education of zoo and wildlife medicine in Japanese university. The survey results showed the spectacularly improved lecture on wildlife medicine as compared with a decade ago, however, the practical training has been insufficient or inadequate.  Here we released its report to discuss the current state of educational issues for zoo and wildlife medicine. 獣医系大学において,野生動物に関してどのような教育が実施されているのかアンケート調査を実施した。1996年に行われた同様の調査の結果と比較すると,講義については多くの大学で改善が見られている。しかし,実習に関しては,人材や設備の不足から十分な教育が実施されていないことが明らかとなった。一方で,各大学からは,野生動物医学に関して,これ以上の教育体制の改善が望めないとの意見も出された。獣医学における野生動物医学の教育の現状を報告する},
